Technical Documentation.

Documents operations teams actually use after the project has ended. Written to a standard, kept in version control.

The problem

Documentation is usually written at the end of a project, under time pressure, and is out of date the week after go-live. Operations then works from memory and screenshots.

Our approach

We set a documentation standard at the start, write the HLD and LLD alongside the design, and hand over as-built documents, runbooks and MOPs that match the network as it actually runs.

Typical deliverables

  • HLD, LLD and as-built documents
  • Runbooks and MOPs
  • Cut-over and test plans
  • Documentation standards and templates
